Developed by past SCDF personnel, you’ll have ease of mind knowing that the course has been designed to meet the desired outcomes. The CERT First Aider Course is also available in blended format to help achieve the best results in the shortest time possible.

Who recognises your courses?

This course is recognised by the Singapore Civil Defence Force. It is accepted as a prerequisite for CERT first aiders. The CPR+AED portion is certified by the Singapore Resuscitation and First Aid Council.

How long is the certification?

Each certification and recertification lasts for 2 years.

Is there a refresher course for this?

You will need to have a valid CERT First Aider Certification. Certification which has just reached expiry may be accepted on a case-to-case basis.

Where are your courses conducted?

At our office and training centre located at 29 Bukit Pasoh Road.

Take the lift to the 2nd or 3rd floor classrooms.

Check the location of your class first on the display TV at level 1.

When can I take the courses?

CERT First Aider Courses usually run on weekdays. Please click the “Register Now” button for the next available course.

What is the duration of the course?

The CERT First Aider Course is conducted over 8 hours (for classroom and blended format).

The CERT First Aider Refresher Course is conducted over 4 hours.

Will international trainees be able to understand and catch up?

It is important to have a good grasp of English to understand the class well. However, the class is conducted in a very simple format, with lots of images, diagrams and videos used to help learners pick up the important information effectively. Over 50% of the course is practical-focused and learners will receive a good amount of coaching from our instructors. This approach results in a very high success rate for our learners.
